3. How do I know that my appointment is confirmed?
Bookings are automatically confirmed by your practice. To ensure that you know what the appointment’s status is, you will be notified by email. You can also see the status in your account on Doctena.
4. What if my appointment is canceled by the dentist’s practice?
Sometimes, a dentist has a last-minute emergency. Doctena will then send you as soon as possible a cancellation email by default and normally the dentist’s clinic will call you. In the unlikely case of a cancellation, you can use Doctena again in order to schedule a new appointment.
5. Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes! Go to https://en.doctena.nl/patient/login, click on appointments, hit ‘cancel’ or ‘reschedule’ and follow the instructions. Be aware that there may be a cut-off after which you cannot change your appointment anymore (it will indicated in the email you received to confirm your appointment). When that happens, you need to call the clinic.
6. Why is there an option to register as a medical representative?
We are making it easy for all to book an appointment with their dentists. Since appointments that are made by medical reps are processed differently, we need them to indicate their profession.
7. How can I reset my password?

8. What if I can’t find my preferred dentist?
You can log into your account and sponsor your dentist. After you filled out and submitted the form, we will get in touch with your requested dentist to let him know that you would like to see him/her listed on Doctena. With some luck, you will be able to book online with him/her next time.
